A space that actually belongs to your teen

Being 13, 15, 17 is not what it used to be. Our teen work respects how much they're already carrying — and gives them something rare: a room where an adult isn't grading, correcting, or fixing them.

Teens don't want to be studied. They want to be believed. Our clinicians who work with adolescents lead with curiosity, not diagnosis — asking what a week looks like, what's actually hard, what feels impossible to say at home. From there, real work can happen.

Common reasons families reach out include anxiety and school pressure, low mood or self-harming urges, bullying and social anxiety, identity questions, body image, family conflict, big transitions (divorce, moves, loss), and behavior at home that parents can't decode. We take all of it seriously, and we tell you what confidentiality means before your teen ever sits down.

How we help

  • First sessions built around trust, not intake forms
  • CBT, DBT skills, and Motivational Interviewing tuned to teen brains
  • Play and art techniques for younger clients — Kaylah is trained in both
  • Family systems work when the room needs more than the teen
  • Coordination with school counselors and prescribers when helpful
  • Clear, up-front conversations with parents about what's shared and what's held

Common questions

  • My teen doesn't want to come. What do I do?

That's very normal. Sometimes we start with a parent consult so you feel steady, and then invite your teen for a low-pressure first session — 'come once and decide.' We tell them up front what's confidential and what isn't.

  • How much will you tell me as the parent?

We loop parents in on safety and big-picture progress, and we keep the day-to-day content of sessions private so your teen can actually use the space. We tell your teen exactly where that line is at the first session.

  • What ages do you work with?

Different clinicians on our team see different ranges. Kaylah Keitt (GA) sees ages 4 and up. Serafin Guerrero (IL) works with ages 7 through adult. Sybria Davis and Joanne Sainvilier (IL) work with adolescents through adults. We'll match by fit and age.

  • Do you help with bullying and self-esteem specifically?

Yes. Sybria Davis's stated areas of focus include bullying, self-esteem, social anxiety, body positivity, and adolescent and teen concerns — all of that lives in our teen work.
