Therapy for women who've been holding a lot
You've been the strong one, the fixer, the person everyone leans on. Somewhere in there, you stopped counting your own load. This work is about putting it down long enough to see it clearly.
In person in Oak Lawn, IL & Marietta, GA · Telehealth across Illinois, Georgia & Florida

Women's mental health at Growth & Guidance isn't a marketing category — it's woven into how the practice was built. Our founder Jalinia Logan produces the Women's Mindset Mastery Workshop precisely because so many women arrive at therapy after years of saying 'I'm fine' out loud while everything under the surface said otherwise.
That commitment shapes the work here. We take burnout seriously. We name the double shift, the caretaking labor, the boundaries you weren't given permission to have. We're honest about what's a mental health issue and what's a systemic one — and we help you tell the difference so you can respond to each in ways that actually work.
How we help
- Women's issues — identity, roles, being 'the one who holds it together'
- Burnout, resentment, and boundary work without guilt scripts
- Perinatal, postpartum, and maternal support (Anna Aranda offers Maternal Support Services)
- Anxiety, depression, and mood shifts across hormonal life stages
- Grief, pregnancy loss, and identity loss during motherhood or career shifts
- Career, self-esteem, and self-harming support (Yerre'Elle Patton lists Women's Issues among her therapy services)

Rooted in community, not just the office
Our founder's Women's Mindset Mastery Workshop exists to bring women's mental health out of the therapy room and into a space where it can be spoken about honestly. If a full course of therapy feels like too much to commit to right now, the workshop, our online course, and the guided journal in our shop are meaningful smaller doors in.

Common questions
-
Do I have to be in crisis to come?
No. A lot of the women we see are functioning at a high level and quietly exhausted. Therapy is a place to put the load down before it turns into something bigger.
-
Do you support new and expecting moms?
Yes. Anna Aranda's practice includes Maternal Support Services and parenting support alongside individual and family work, in English and Spanish.
-
What's the Women's Mindset Mastery Workshop?
It's the women's mental health workshop produced by our founder Jalinia Logan — an intimate, community-facing gathering dedicated to women naming what 'I'm fine' has been covering. The work in this office is an extension of that same commitment.
