I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Governors State University. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families across school, community mental health, psychiatric, and behavioral health settings.
My approach to therapy is client-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in restorative practices and restorative justice. I believe that building a strong and trusting relationship is an important part of the therapeutic process, and I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves.
I have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, and other mental health challenges. I incorporate skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, restorative justice, crisis intervention, and coping-skills development.
My goal is to meet clients where they are, help them recognize their strengths, and support them in developing the skills and confidence needed to create meaningful and positive change in their lives.
