Nursing was my first career, and it taught me how deeply mental and physical health are connected. I earned my BSW from Georgia State University in 2014 and my MSW from the University of New England in 2017, and have practiced as a supervised therapist in community mental health since 2017 — including work as a nurse assisting with medication management. I became an LMSW in September 2018, earned my Tele Mental Health certification in 2018, and an Anxiety Management certification in 2022. My work is grounded in the Person-in-Environment perspective: understanding you in the full context of your life, relationships, and community.
