They want to be believed. Our clinicians who work with adolescents lead with curiosity, not diagnosis — asking what a week looks like, what's actually hard, what feels impossible to say at home. From there, real work can happen. Common reasons families reach out include anxiety and school pressure, low mood or self-harming urges, bullying and social anxiety, identity questions, body image, family conflict, big transitions (divorce, moves, loss), and behavior at home that parents can't decode.
