Growth & Guidance Counseling is a group therapy practice built on one conviction: that warm, effective mental-health care should be within reach of the communities that have historically been furthest from it. Our mission ## We meet you where you are . We serve adults, teens, couples, and families — many from minority and underserved communities looking for a therapist who leads with respect for their background, their faith, and their pace. Our clinicians are strengths-based and culturally affirming. We won't push you to talk about anything you're not ready for. Building trust takes time. We're patient. We offer in-person care in Oak Lawn, Illinois and Marietta, Georgia, and telehealth throughout GA, IL, and FL. Sliding-scale rates ($50–$100) mean cost is rarely the reason care doesn't happen. Meet the founder ## Jalinia Logan, LCSW , CCATP ![Jalinia Logan, founder of Growth & Guidance Counseling](/__l5e/assets-v1/d617632a-17a9-457e-8b46-24bd1ef2e258/jalinia-logan.jpg) Jalinia began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Years of patient care taught her something most therapists learn later, if at all: the body and the mind aren't separate — they're speaking to each other, constantly. When she made the move into clinical social work, she brought that mind-body fluency with her. Twelve years into practice, she draws from CBT, psychodynamic, solution-focused, supportive, and spiritually-integrated modalities — matching the approach to the client, never the other way around. She holds the Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) credential.
